The manufacturing of plasterboards
The manufacturing of plasterboards are done pretty much the same way in all the plasterboard plants in the world. The production flow below shows the different stages of the production. Basically, a mass of gypsum is being manufactured, moulded between two layers of paper on a moulding table. The "endless" board is being hardened and cut into desired length. You may find a more detailed description of the construction of the plasterboard in the article Plasterboard production (pdf).
