The properties of the plasterboard
Norgips plasterboards have a number of unique properties as a building material. There are no harmful emissions from the plasterboards. They contain no allergy provoking substances, and they are contributing to a safe indoor climate. Walls and roofs made with Norgips plasterboards are strong and stable, they do not crack and they fulfil the demands for fire- and sound insulation.

Fire protection
Norgips plasterboards will not be able to catch on fire. They give you effective protection in case of a fire. The board’s crystal water will delay the development of the fire. |

Indoor climate
The Norgips plasterboard’s ability to absorb and emit heat and moisture from the air, is contributing to a good indoor climate. The boards contain no harmful substances, in other words, a healthy material that is simply not able to pollute our indoor climate. |

Sound insulation
Plasterboards is a wise choice regarding noise reduction and sound insulation. In order to obtain the best possible result, it is important our directions are closely followed. |

Moisture resistance
Used in a normal way, the Norgips plasterboards are not attacked by rot, fungus or similar. In bathrooms, laundry rooms and other rooms with high humidity, special directions must be followed.

Thermal insulation
Plasterboards are able to stand up to high temperatures over a short period of time, but must not be used where the temperature is permanently above 50°C. |
