Throughout the years, Norgips has put a lot of emphasize on being environmentally friendly, also regarding quality and safety. This applies to the manufacturing process as well as the use of the finished product.

Norgips plasterboards do not contain any toxic substances, and there is no emission of dangerous gases, vapour, fibres or dust particles to the interior environment. Comparing plasterboards to other types of building materials, plasterboards are one of the most environmentally friendly materials on the market.

The boards’ ability to absorb and emit heat and humidity contribute to a better interior environment. Norgips holds the Scandinavian Indoor Climate Certificatel of superior class.
The manufacturing process has been approved by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. This puts, together with an integrated HES-system, Norgips in the lead when it comes to openness regarding environmental conditions and the use of resources.
