Plasterboard production in Drammen

Norgips AS was founded in 1964. The first plasterboard was manufactured in 1965. Since then, the plant has been continuously expanded and updated with new technology, and it appear today as a top of the line manufacturing plant.

 

The raw gypsum, the most important ingredient.			The mass of gypsum is being dosed out onto the moulding table on top of the front paper.
			The back paper is put in place, and the endless board starts hardening and is transported to the cutter
Cutting, stacking and put on pallets.
Transportation to the end user, within the country or for export.			Walls and ceilings in healthy buildings.
